Purposes and Usage of Personal Data
Advantest will process with our best possible care the Personal Data that you have provided us when visiting this website.
We have adopted strict security policies and safeguards to protect Personal Data from unauthorized access, loss, alteration and destruction. We have appointed a Data Privacy Officer who controls the compliance with data protection rules. We also provide training within the company on the importance of protecting Personal Data and are constantly striving to protect Personal Data throughout all facets of the company.
Personal Data you have provided to us, we will not disclose, provide, or transfer to a third party without your permission, unless permitted or required by applicable law. We will store your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill a specific purpose for which they were collected (e.g. website analyzes). Once this purpose is fulfilled, we store the required Personal Data for the duration of the statutory retention periods. Subsequently, we delete or anonymize Personal Data.
Logfiles
Every time you access our website, it is necessary that our website host Timme Hosting GmbH & Co. KG (registered address at Ovelgönner Weg 43, 21335 Lüneburg, Germany, https://timmehosting.de, https://timmehosting.de/datenschutz) temporarily stores your IP address, the user agent and your referrer so that the website can be delivered to your computer. Our host stores those information in our website in so-called log files (access.log, error.log.) for up to 30 days and solely use the listed data to ensure the continued functioning and optimization of our website, e.g. through detecting malfunctions, protecting from cyberattacks as well as to secure our IT systems. Furthermore, temporary storage of the log files is used for error detection and error prevention. After the stated time period, the log files will be deleted or anonymized.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of log files is Article 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above.
Hosting and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
Cloudflare
We use the “Cloudflare” service provided by Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. (hereinafter referred to as “Cloudflare”).
Cloudflare offers a content delivery network with DNS that is available worldwide. As a result, the information transfer that occurs between your browser and our website is technically routed via Cloudflare’s network. This enables Cloudflare to analyze data transactions between your browser and our website and to work as a filter between our servers and potentially malicious data traffic from the Internet. Google Maps
This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). When Google Maps is integrated, information is technically already forwarded to Google servers and stored by them when a user navigates to the corresponding subpage.
