Opportunities for you as a school student
As a school student or graduate, seize your chance at Advantest. There are many opportunities. In addition to interesting apprenticeship programs with a technical or commercial focus, we can offer you challenging, future-focused dual study bachelor programs in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Digital Business Management – enabling you to lay strong foundations for a great career.
By joining Advantest, you are choosing an outstanding, award-winning employer who has a great deal to offer you. You’ll not only find a job that you’ll enjoy, but also a forward-looking, international working environment that is addressing tomorrow’s technologies today.
As a student in Advantest´s dual study program, I can explore my personal interests and take an active role in shaping my work experience. Next year, for example, I will be developing the automation aspect of a test system. Because I ultimately want to work as a product engineer for test systems – and will need to ensure there are no problems during production – this practical experience is tailored to me and my professional goals.
Daniel, Dual Study Program - Mechatronics
As a trainee, I often work independently – and for me that is one of the major plus points here: if you want to, you can really achieve something at Advantest. A major highlight for me was developing a cable tester: from defining the requirements, to the PCB design, to touchscreen implementation, programming, documentation and operating instructions. Today, the tester is deployed in production in Malaysia – and I am very proud.
Timo, Apprentice – Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems
During my apprenticeship program as an industrial clerk at Advantest I realized that accounting is my passion and numbers are my world. Today, I am responsible for the European financial planning and reporting, and by using my forecasts I can map out the future of Advantest to a large extent. I can provide the management team with actionable decision-making information, to shape business processes in the future – and, in this way, make my own contribution to the company’s development.
Joana, Finance Analyst
